• Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève) — Our movements bear the prestigious Geneva Seal, certifying they were manufactured within the canton of Geneva and meet the highest standards of finishing and precision.
• COSC Certification — All Aurelian movements are tested and certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, guaranteeing precision within -4/+6 seconds per day.
• Swiss Made Label — Our timepieces meet all requirements of the "Swiss Made" designation, with a minimum of 60% of manufacturing value occurring in Switzerland.

In-House Movements

Aurelian manufactures all watch movements within our Geneva atelier. Each caliber represents generations of accumulated expertise combined with contemporary engineering excellence.

Caliber AU-1847

The founding movement of our maison. Manual-winding with 72-hour power reserve. Features hand-finished Côtes de Genève decoration and beveled bridges. Used in our Heritage collection.

Caliber AU-Tourbillon

Our signature flying tourbillon complication, visible through the dial. 60-second rotation, titanium cage weighing just 0.28 grams. 120-hour power reserve.

Caliber AU-Perpetual

Self-winding perpetual calendar with moon phase display. Accurate until 2100 without manual adjustment. Features instant date jump and annual calendar correction.

Caliber AU-Grand

Our most complex movement, combining tourbillon, perpetual calendar, minute repeater, and split-seconds chronograph. Over 580 components, 4 Hz frequency.

Materials & Sourcing

We maintain rigorous standards for all materials used in Aurelian timepieces, ensuring both exceptional quality and ethical responsibility.

Metals

• 18K Gold — We use exclusively 18-karat gold (750‰ purity) from refiners certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. Yellow, rose, and white gold available.
• Platinum — 950‰ platinum for our finest pieces. Sourced from South Africa with full Chain of Custody documentation.
• Titanium — Grade 5 aerospace-grade titanium for cases and bracelets, offering exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
• Stainless Steel — 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, fully polished and brushed according to model specifications.

Gemstones

• All diamonds are VVS1+ clarity, D-E color, sourced from Kimberley Process certified suppliers.
• Colored gemstones are sourced with full provenance documentation, including treatments and country of origin.
• No synthetic or lab-grown stones are used in Aurelian timepieces.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures your Aurelian timepiece maintains its beauty and precision for generations. We recommend the following maintenance guidelines.

Daily Care

• Avoid extreme temperature changes, which can affect lubricant viscosity and movement precision.
• Protect from magnetic fields, which can temporarily or permanently magnetize steel components.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth. For metal bracelets, use a soft brush with lukewarm water.
• Have your watch water resistance checked annually if exposed to moisture.

Service Intervals

• Mechanical Service — Complete movement service every 5-7 years by an authorized Aurelian service center.
• Full Restoration — Cosmetic and mechanical restoration every 15-20 years for vintage pieces.
• Timing Verification — Annual precision verification recommended for collectors.

Warranty Terms

Aurelian provides comprehensive warranty coverage for all genuine timepieces, ensuring your investment is protected.

• International Warranty — 5-year international warranty on all new Aurelian timepieces, valid from date of purchase.
• Movement Warranty — Lifetime warranty on movement defects for original owners when serviced exclusively at authorized centers.
• Coverage Includes — Manufacturing defects, material flaws, movement malfunctions under normal use.
• Exclusions — Damage from improper handling, accidents, unauthorized service, or natural wear of straps and bracelets.

Purchases

• Prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes.
• Payment must be received in full prior to shipment.
• White-glove delivery is complimentary for all timepieces.

Custom Orders

• Bespoke creations require a 50% deposit at time of order.
• Production timelines commence upon receipt of design approval.
• Custom orders are non-cancellable once production begins.
• Final payment is due prior to shipment.

Authenticity

• Only timepieces purchased through Aurelian or authorized retailers carry warranty coverage.
• We cannot guarantee authenticity or service history of pre-owned pieces from other sources.
• Serial numbers are recorded in our archives for authenticity verification.
